Former Ute Eric Weddle hit the NFL jackpot with a $40 million extension to remain with the San Diego Chargers.

General manager A.J. Smith said Weddle is "an outstanding football player that has not scratched the surface.”

I am so excited to see Brian Blechen play linebacker and really be in a position to lay some serious hits on opposing players. He also should get more bat downs and interceptions.
