Logan LDS conference aims to connect, uplift singles 31 and older

LOGAN, Utah — It's their biggest event of the year. "Peace Like a River" is the theme for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' 2010 Cache Singles 31 and over conference scheduled to open Thursday, Oct. 14 with a temple session and closes on Sunday evening, Oct. 17 with a special fireside in the Logan Tabernacle.

Regional representative Deon Van Dyke says the conference is an easy and enjoyable way to meet people in the same situation. On KVNU's Crosstalk show Wednesday, Van Dyke said one of the highlights comes Friday night with a concert by T-Minus 5 at the USU LDS Institute building.
