LEHI, Utah — MyPrincessProm.com, a modest prom dress rental firm, will open a new physical location at the existing Modernly Vintage Boutique, at 394 W. Main.
The rental store intends to offer formal dresses with sleeves, high necklines and no high slits in the skirt, at affordable prices.
"We knew we wanted to offer modest prom dresses to the community, so we are very pleased to partner with MyPrincessProm.com," said Ashley McKinnon, co-owner of the Modernly Vintage Boutique.
The boutique, which is in the historic Lehi Hotel, is just down the street from Lehi High School, which has a dress code for formal dances.
Christine Hash, who owns MyPrincessProm.com, has sold dresses for some time on her website, www.ModestProm.com.
"Recently, I decided to take it one step further and offer modest prom dress rentals as well," Hash said. "I began renting dresses out of my home. However, I found that limits on my time and space also limited what I could make available. By operating out of a store front with a staff and regular business hours, MyPrincessProm.com will be able to offer more dresses to more girls more conveniently."
