In Book 3 of Ravenspell, "Freaky Flyday," author David Farland returns readers to the adventures of Amber, the valiant mouse wizard, and her partner Ben, the once-human mouse. After saving Oregon from a nuclear crisis and revealing the plight of the enslaved micedom to the human population, they head to Disneyland for a much-deserved vacation.

But trouble lurks ahead when mouse mentor Lady Blackpool prophesies that the Ever Shade, and ancient evil force, will soon be returning to earth. Then the mice receive word that Belle Z. Bug, a giant mutant fly associated with Ever Shade, has hatched in a Los Angeles landfill.

Belle's marketing campaign seduces many a fly and throws the human race into chaos. The mice decide to team up with Harold Shortzenbeggar, governor of California, in hopes to defeat this sinister Lord of the Flies.
