A new DVD about President Gordon B. Hinckley opens with images of Cove

Fort, built in southern Utah out of volcanic rock under the direction of Ira Nathaniel

Hinckley, grandfather of the man who would become 15th president of The

Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.The production then builds the story of what narrator Carole Mikita calls a "remarkable life."Produced by KSL Television, "President Gordon B. Hinckley:

Honoring the Life and Legacy of a Prophet" is a collection of historic

photos and images, interviews with the prophet and his family, and

footage from the 13 years he spent as president of the LDS Church.The production features President Hinckley recounting several experiences that defined his

faith, including the conviction he felt as a youth sitting in a

priesthood meeting in the old 10th Ward, and the letter he received

from his father while a discouraged missionary in England, telling him

to "forget himself and go to work."The DVD is a life portrait of the prophet, from his early

years as a student in the Great Depression to his call as an apostle

and, eventually, as president of the church. It highlights the defining

moments of President Hinckley's service as prophet, including his
