The deadline for entries for the 2009 LDS Film Festival is Monday.
The festival, which has seen a 30 percent increase in script submissions this year, celebrates films made by LDS filmmakers.
Prizes totaling around $3,000 will be awarded to the best films and screenplays. Festival organizers are anticipating a total audience of around 7,500 for the 2009 event.
Submission categories include the short film competition, special screenings, feature film exhibition and 24-hour filmmaking marathon.
