PROVO, Utah — The 37th annual Sidney B. Sperry Symposium will be held this month on the Brigham Young University campus.This year's symposium on the scriptures, titled "The Doctrine and Covenants: Revelations in Context," will be Oct. 24 and 25.Elder C. Max Caldwell, emeritus member of the Quorum of the Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will open the proceedings with a keynote address at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 24 in the Joseph Smith Building auditorium. Breakout sessions will follow that evening and begin again at 9 a.m. on Oct. 25.Presenters will include faculty from BYU, BYU-Hawaii and the Church Educational System.Admission to the symposium is free and registration is not required.
