Donny Osmond has announced that he'll be on the upcoming season of ABC's "Dancing With the Stars."Appearing on "The Bonnie Hunt Show" that aired Tuesday, Osmond was asked if he would consider competing on the show, as had his sister, Marie."Well, I guess I am making an announcement," he replied. "I'll just say I am seriously considering doing it, let's put it that way."Then he laughed and added, "I guess I just let the cat out of the bag!"The new season of "Dancing With the Stars" begins on March 9. ABC plans an official announcement of the participants shortly before then; the network has no comment on Osmond's participation at this point.Marie Osmond was a contestant on "Dancing" in the fall of 2007, making headlines when she fainted on air after one of her performances. She made it to the finals that season, but finished third."I can't let my sister upstage me," Osmond told Hunt. "Besides, who do you think taught her to dance?""That's not fair!" Marie Osmond retorted. "The men do half the work!""That's why I'm doing it, baby!" Donny replied."I just want to see him in stretchy pants!" Marie said.Donny and Marie are currently headlining at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas, and Donny won't be taking time off to do the TV show."It is going to be very difficult because I am going to be doing Vegas on top of doing 'Dancing With the Stars,' " he said.
