Deseret Book's "Time Out for Women" will be in Ogden, Utah, later this month — the first time the program will be presented on the Wasatch Front.
The event will take place Jan. 22-24 at Weber State University's Mark Evans Austad Auditorium.
"Time Out for Women," now in its seventh year, is a gathering of authors and musicians who "share messages of hope and renewal with women," according to a news release.
There will be two two-day sessions held over the three days in Ogden, each including an evening and full-day program of speakers and performances. This year's theme is "Sweet Assurance."
The Thursday evening/Friday afternoon session (Jan. 22 and 23) will feature the following presenters: Brad and Debi Wilcox ("Growing Up" and "Stay in the Lifeboat"), Chris Stewart ("The Great & Terrible"), Emily Watts ("Confessions of an Unbalanced Woman"), Carolyn Rasmus ("Simplify"), Wendy Ulrich ("Forgiving Ourselves"), Emily Freeman ("21 Days Closer to Christ") and musicians Michael McLean and Kenneth Cope.
The Friday evening/Saturday session (Jan. 23 and 24) will feature Ardeth Kapp ("Better Than You Think You Are"), Mark Mabry ("Reflections of Christ"), Brent Top ("When You Can't Do It Alone"), DeAnne Flynn ("The Time-Starved Family"), Kris Belcher ("Hard Times and Holy Places"), Kim Nelson ("Happily Forever After") and musicians Abe Mills (Jericho Road), Jenny Jordan Frogley and Hilary Weeks.
Tickets for the events are available at DeseretBook.com or by calling 1-866-832-8211.
