MURRAY — A Utah Highway Patrol trooper was injured while driving a motorcycle on Thursday when another vehicle turned in front of his motorcycle, causing an accident.
About 3 p.m., the trooper was heading north on Commerce Drive (390 West) at about 5600 South. A southbound vehicle made a left-hand turn in front of the motorcycle, and the trooper had no choice but to hit it, according to the Utah Department of Public Safety.
The trooper received minor to serious injuries and was taken to an area hospital for treatment. Murray police are handling the ongoing investigation of the crash.
