1 JACKSONVILLE SHARKS (7-1) QB Aaron Garcia had another solid game, this time at the expense of the Soul. Garcia threw for 271 yard and 5 TDs with no interceptions as the Sharks picked up their seventh win in a row. FB Kirby Griffin added two rushing TDs. This Week: Iowa Barnstormers, May 13
2 ARIZONA RATTLERS (7-1) An impressive fourth quarter allowed the Rattlers to smother the Cats 65-43 in San Jose. QB Nick Davila threw three TDs and LB Kevin McCullough picked up two defensive TDs in the fourth. The tough Arizona defense had four interceptions in the game. This Week: Chicago Rush, May 14
3 DALLAS VIGILANTES (6-2) Dallas is flying up the rankings as they picked up their fourth consecutive win against Iowa. QB Dan Raudabaugh has picked up 22 TDs and just 3 interceptions during the last four games. Two of the interceptions came last week against the Barnstormers. This Week: @ Spokane Shock, May 14
4 GEORGIA FORCE (5-3) Throwing for 374 yards and nine TDs wasn’t enough for Brett Elliott and the Force as the tough offense of Utah pulled off a win in the final seconds of the game. Georgia scored early and scored often, but couldn’t stop the Blaze on the final drive. This Week: @Philadelphia Soul, May 13
5 CLEVELAND GLADIATORS (5-2) The division leading Gladiators picked up three touchdowns in the air and three on the ground in their win over the Mustangs. Cleveland QB Kurt Rocco was replaced by Dan Whalen after Rocco went down with an injury in the third. This Week: @Orlando Predators, May 14
6 CHICAGO RUSH (5-3) The Rush has the 14th ranked rushing defense, and it showed last week as the Talons rushed for 62 yards and 5 TDs, handing the Rush a 64-45 loss. Chicago scored the first two TDs, but then gave up 27 straight points to Tulsa. Even after allowing that streak, Chicago picked up the lead briefly in the second quarter, before losing it for good. 7 UTAH BLAZE (4-3) There were 718 combined passing yards in the 74-71 Blaze win over Georgia last week. Tom Grady had 344 yards and 10 TDs with no interceptions, earning the Offensive Player of the Week award. Aaron Boone, Alvin Robinson and Aaron LeSue each caught three TDs. Boone had 196 receiving yards on 18 receptions. He is 30 yards away from 1,000 yards receiving on the year, and he has five games with more than 100 yards receiving. 8 SAN JOSE SABERCATS (5-3) Mark Grieb and the SaberCats pulled within four points of the Rattlers mid way through the fourth with a touchdown pass to Otis Amey. Then Arizona pulled away for the win. Grieb would end up with 264 yards, four passing TDs and one rushing TD in a losing cause. This Week: @Pittsburgh Power
9 ORLANDO PREDATORS (5-3) The Predators managed to hang on for the win against Milwaukee in a high scoring game. QB Nick Hill passed for 323 yards and 8TDs. He ran for another touchdown. WR T.T. Toliver caught nine passes for 140 yards and three TDs. This Week: Cleveland Gladiators, May 14
10 SPOKANE SHOCK (3-5) Trying to pick up a third win in a row the Shock pulled ahead in the first half 27-14. Pittsburgh picked up the pace in the second half and pulled off the 10-point win, 51-41. QB Kyle Rowley threw for 244 yards and 4 TDs. This Week: Dallas Vigilantes, May 14
11 TULSA TALONS (3-5) Tulsa faced the Rush for the first time ever last week, and despite a slow start, managed to pour it on in the second half to walk away for the win. Matt Bassuener threw for three TDs and ran for four more. Three of those scores came in a 27-point streak in the first half. This Week: @ New Orleans VooDoo, May 13
12 PITTSBURGH POWER (4-4) A surging second half lifted the Power past visiting Spokane, after a 13-point deficit at the half. The game was tied at 41 with 3:44 left in the game.
