Former Utah coach Jim Boylen is "very interested" and noted "it would be a privilege to talk to somebody about it" when it comes to the vacancy at Eastern Michigan. The Detroit News includes Boylen in a list of possible candidates for the job.
Boylen was fired by Utah on March 12, following his second consecutive losing season with the Utes. He was eventually replaced by Larry Krystkowiak.
