Brockeith Pane — Pane didn’t make a field goal in the first half, but was the reason the Aggies were able to get back into the game in the second. With 3:43 left and the Aggies within six, momentum was all Utah State until he traveled, leading to a Kansas State layup that could have been the difference. He finished with 17 points, half of them from the foul line. Grade: B+.

Tai Wesley — Wesley led the Aggies with 18 points and six rebounds. Too bad he missed four free throws and had only two points in the first half. He sat much of the first half with foul trouble, but was the other reason USU was able to get back into the game. Grade: B-.

Pooh Williams — Williams was one of the Aggie defenders assigned to matchup against Kansas State guard Jacob Pullen, who had an average game. Offensively Williams lit up the board scoring 16 and hitting four 3-pointers. Grade: A-.

Nate Bendall — Bendall had a less than stellar game, going 2-7 from the field and grabbing five rebounds in 23 minutes. Grade: C-.

Tyler Newbold — Had six rebounds, but did not score. Was another Aggie defender responsible for guarding Pullen. Grade: D+.

Brian Green — Green made only one shot from beyond the arc and had a meager seven points off of the bench. Had two rebounds and one assist. Also had an important momentum keeping steal after a dunk by Williams. Grade: C-.

Brady Jardine — Jardine wasn’t much of a factor as he normally can be. Went 2-3 from the field and grabbed four rebounds in 21 minutes of play. Grade: B-.

James Walker III — Had one rebound and one turnover. Biggest play was an assist to Williams for his momentous dunk in the second half. Did more good than bad in seven minutes. Grade: B.

Morgan Grim — In seven minutes had one block and one turnover. Also called for an intentional foul that cost the Aggies two foul shots and the ball. Grim’s purpose was to give rest time to Wesley, Bendall and Jardine, but he did more bad than good on the floor. Grade: D.
