Who will replace Jim Boylen? Utah's search for a new men's basketball coach is making the rounds from coast-to-coast. Comcast SportsNet Bay Area is reporting that preliminary talks have taken place between Utah's athletic administration and representatives for Saint Mary's coach Randy Bennett.

— According to The Daily Reveille in Baton Rouge, LSU coach and former Utah assistant Trent Johnson denies interest in leaving the Tigers.

— ESPN.com's Andy Katz took a recent look at the Utah situation in his blog. Possible candidates he mentioned include Bennett, Johnson, Old Dominion's Blaine Taylor and former Alabama coach Mark Gottfried. Duke assistant Steve Wojciechowski is also included. His wife is from Utah.
