The awards continue to roll in for BYU's Jimmer Fredette.

Sports Illustrated is the latest to name him national player of the year. SI.com said Fredette "is the only logical choice for this award."

On Tuesday, CBSSports.com named Fredette its national player of the year, explaining that Fredette "made ridiculous shots look easy and 30-point games seem normal."

Expect many more national accolades to come for Fredette in the coming days and weeks.

Jimmer is the POY.
The Sun is hot.
The national debt is big.
The Titanic hit an iceberg.

Let's see how many of the other sports organizations get it right and recognize the obvious.

It's great to see Jimmer being recognized for an outstanding year. He's one of the most entertaining players of this generation.
