SALT LAKE CITY — A bill that would define raw honey passed the House unanimously Wednesday.
For honey to be labeled as raw under HB148, it must be "minimally processed" and not undergo pasteurization.
Rep. Joel Briscoe, D-Salt Lake, said he backed the bill because he believes raw honey cures ills.
The measure now moves to the Senate for its consideration.
