TOOELE — A 25-year-old man was killed in a rollover accident on I-80 early Tuesday. Investigators believe speed and alcohol were factors in the crash.
Just after midnight, a car drifted through the median and rolled multiple times. The driver, Mario Ramirez, of Salt Lake City, was thrown 70 feet from his vehicle and killed, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.
The passenger, 23-year-old Oscar Ramirez, of Salt Lake City, was injured.
The wrecked vehicle was hit by another vehicle after the accident. The driver of the second car was not injured.
