PLAIN CITY — Fifth-ranked Fremont High extended its winning streak to 11 games Tuesday night with a 61-50 Region 1 victory over Davis.
Fremont guard Patrick Fishburn paced the Silver Wolves with 17 points, including three 3-pointers, while Nick Vigil added 15 points and Brock Smith added 10 in the 11-point victory.
Davis made things interesting with three minutes left in the game, but Fishburn knocked down a pair of free throws to end Davis’ threat.
With the win, Fremont improves to 14-4 overall and 12-1 in league play, while the Darts fall to 11-7 overall and 9-4 in region play.
Trevor Webb led the Darts with 21 points, while Morgan Dunford added 12.
