SALT LAKE CITY — Nearly 30 physician office practices have been honored by a local organization for demonstrating high quality health care.
HealthInsight, a non-profit dedicated to improving health care systems in Nevada and Utah, recognized multiple doctors and their staffs for adopting health information technologies, using care management methods regularly, participating in data reporting quality initiatives and achieving exemplary performance on nationally recognized quality measures related to diabetes, cancer screening and immunizations.
Offices receiving the HealthInsight Quality Award, include 20 Intermountain Healthcare facilities throughout the Salt Lake Valley and in Davis County, as well as seven independent care facilities across northern Utah.
HealthInsight provides the award on an annual basis to promote excellence in health care.
