Jazz point guard Deron Williams said after Wednesday night's win at Portland here that he will miss Friday night's home game against Sacramento because of a funeral.
Jazz spokesman Jonathan Rinehart said Williams planned to spend Wednesday night in Portland, and he will fly to his native West Virginia today to attend Friday's funeral for his uncle.
Backup Ronnie Price is expected to start in Williams' place against the Kings, Price's former team.

Sorry for your loss, Deron.
Hopefully, Price and Gaines will be ready to fill in with a win against the Kings.
Peace and good wishes to DWIL and his family, sorry about your loss. Thanks for helping us hold off Portland tonight mainly due to your ability, leadership and determination, will see you back for Dallas game.
Kudos to Ronnie Price who did More..
What! If the Jazz lose to the Queens on Friday it will be a crock. Players taking time off is not good....for whatever reason.
