MEN'S BASKETBALL: At Twin Falls, Idaho, the Bruins fell for the second straight game to College of Southern Idaho 57-65. SLCC struggled shooting managing only 33 percent from the field and finished 2-20 from the 3 point line. Salt Lake is now 16-5 overall and 7-4 in conference play.

Only two Bruins finished in double figures with John Hayward-Mayhew scoring 15 points and eight rebounds and Wil Carter finished with 13 points.

Salt Lake returns to the floor January 29th to face College of Eastern Utah and January 30th against Colorado Northwestern at Bruin Arena.

WOMEN'S BASKETEBALL: At Twin Falls, Idaho, the Bruins fell 74-59 to College of Southern Idaho for their third loss of the season. SLCC committed 23 turnovers in the game and was out rebounded 23-13 on the offensive end of the court. The loss takes SLCC's record to 17-3 overall and 9-2 in conference play.

Freshmen Ali Blake led Salt Lake with 17 points and Mina Jovanovic came off the bench to score 12 points. Southern Idaho held SWAC leading scorer Haley Holmstead to just nine points.

Salt Lake returns to the floor on Friday to face College of Eastern Utah and Saturday against Colorado Northwestern at Bruin Arena.
