Daniel T. Barlow, a CPA, has been admitted into partnership with Pinnock, Robbins, Posey & Richens. Barlow specializes in audits of privately owned commercial entities, local governments and nonprofits.
Buzz Goddard has been named vice president of worldwide residential sales by ClearOne. The action was subsequent to the company's acquisition of NetStreams, and Goddard assumes global responsibility for NetStreams Residential Sales. Goddard previously was NetStreams' vice president of international sales. He has held executive positions at several other companies.
Richard Nelson has been named to the PKD Foundation's national board of trustees. Nelson is president and chief executive officer of the Utah Technology Council. He will serve a three-year term for the nonprofit organization, which combats polycystic kidney disease.
Hilary Reiter has been named public relations director for the annual Orion Independent Musical Festival. Reiter has work in public relations for several Utah organizations and currently is the public relations director at a local advertising agency. She also has been involved in managing political campaigns and began her career in New York conducting marketing and public relations for record labels.
Jeremy Cooper has been named terrain park manager for Park City Mountain Resorts. He began his career as a park builder in 2002 and later became park manager. In his new position, he will oversee the design, maintenance and construction of the resort's four terrain parks and of the Eagle Superpipe. He also will be responsible for managing the Park City All-Star team and will serve as the voice of Park City Mountain Resort in action sports forums and social networks.
Graham Allen has joined the Trapper Trails Council of the Boy Scouts of America as district executive for the Island View District, which covers Sunset, Clinton, West Point and Clearfield. He will oversee district program development, youth recruitment and involvement; unit leadership training and district fundraising. Allen also has been assigned to direct the council's local Cub day camp, Camp Fife, located near Tremonton. Prior to working for the Trapper Trails Council, Allen worked in public relations. His education includes a degree from Weber State University.
Karen Weiss has been promoted to executive director of Tour of Utah. Weiss previously was chief operating officer and then deputy director. She has more than 15 years of experience in sponsorship and special events.
