Colorado town approves tall steeple for LDS chapel

WINDSOR, Colo. — The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints will

have their 64-foot steeple.

The Windsor Town Board approved the resolution allowing

for the height variance for the church during Monday's regular town board

meeting.

\"The church requires a steeple, doctrinally,\"

said Victor Lauer of Keys and Associates, presenting on behalf of the church. \"It

lifts the eyes to heaven.\"
