The University of Utah football program picked up a couple of recruiting commitments over the weekend.
Tyler Shreve, a 6-foot-3, 220-pound quarterback from Redlands East Valley High School (Calif.) and Wykie Freeman, a 5-foot-11, 165-pound cornerback out of Pasadena Memorial High School (Texas) plan to sign letters-of-intent with the Utes next month.
Shreve, who originally committed to Colorado State, passed for 1,931 yards and 22 touchdowns as a senior. He was intercepted just twice.
Freeman capped his prep career with four interceptions and a blocked field goal as a senior.
