"Footloose," Jan. 20, 6-8 p.m., Midvale Main Street Theatre, 7711 S. Main, Midvale.

Needed are male and female actors, ages 15 to adult. Come prepared with 16 bars of an upbeat song. Preferably on a CD.

"Father of the Bride," Holladay Arts Council, Jan. 19, 7-9 p.m., Holladay City Hall, 4580 S. 2300 East, Holladay.

This will be a stage reading. As such, the rehearsal period is short — three Saturday morning rehearsals and two evening rehearsals with one performance. Please bring a non-memorized piece from any modern comedy. The roles of Mr. and Mrs. Banks have already been cast.

"Old Lyric Repertory Company,"Jan. 24, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center, 138 W. 300 South.

The summer schedule includes: "Always … Patsy Cline," "The Mousetrap," "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged)" and "Blithe Spirit."

The OLRC is looking for men and women ages 20-40, and an actress to play Patsy Cline.

Come prepared with two monologues; one must be a comic piece. The total time should not exceed four minutes, and pieces may be from the season's shows.

You will also be asked to read sides, which are available at www.theatre.usu.edu. Actors should bring a headshot and resume.

Women auditioning for Patsy Cline are expected to sing something from the Cline repertoire. An accompanist will be present.

The contract for OLRC company members runs May 16-July 31. Housing will be arranged but not paid for by OLRC.

"The Three Musketeers," Jan. 23, 9 a.m. -noon, Hale Centre Theatre, 3333 S. Decker Lake Drive, West Valley City.

Looking for men ages 20-50 and women, 20-30 and 50-60. Characters will need to speak in a standard British accent and some in a French accent. This show may be physically demanding for some characters. Sword-fight training is most helpful. Bring a headshot and resume.
