PAGE, Ariz. — Glen Canyon National Recreation Area and ARAMARK, Lake Powell Resorts and Marinas have teamed up to bring 17 new community recycling trailers to Lake Powell and Glen Canyon National Recreation Area.
The recycling trailers are highly visible and sport a stylized design including a bright blue and green finish with emblems and slogans that promote recycling. The trailers have separate bins for cardboard, plastic, aluminum and glass. The new trailers will replace the older and smaller recycling bins located throughout the park.
The recycling trailers are open and available for public use. Most of the new recycling trailers will be located at the boat ramps and marinas throughout the park.
ARAMARK processes the recycled materials for shipment to recyclers in Utah, Arizona and California.
