Bank of American Fork plans events this week

AMERICAN FORK —? Bank of American Fork is partnering with a couple of other companies to present events this week.

The bank is partnering with Hawkins Cloward & Simister to present a free lunch seminar titled "Avoiding Business Fraud" from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 14, at the bank's American Fork Branch, 6 W. Main.

Speakers from the CPA firm will discuss risk for fraud and how to implement effective internal controls, recognize warning signs from employees and avoid fraud-related damage. RSVPs may be completed at rsvp@bankaf.com or by calling 801-642-3042.

A workshop titled "Strategic Perspectives for Key Executives" will be presented Friday, Jan. 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Bank of American Fork's Riverton branch, 2691 W. 12600 South.
