Utah Jazz: Ronnie Price, C.J. Miles won't play against Miami tonight

Neither starting small forward C.J. Miles nor backup point guard Ronnie Price will play in the Jazz's home game against Miami tonight.

Veteran Andrei Kirilenko will start in Miles' place. Miles missed the Jazz's morning shootaround today because he was sick, and a team spokesman said tonight that he has a "viral infection." It's unknown if he'll return in time for Thursday's home game against Cleveland.

Price is out due to tendinitis in his left shoulder.

The injury — of uncertain origin — has bothered the Utah Valley State product since the middle of last week. But this will be the first game missed by Price because of the shoulder. He started two games when starting point Deron Williams was out last week with a sprained and bruised right wrist, and played sparingly when Williams returned for last Saturday's win at Dallas.

Miami has won four straight over the Jazz, who are opening a three-game homestand.
