Jan LePore has been elected chairwoman of the West Jordan Chamber of Commerce. LePore has served as manager of Utah Central Credit Union's West Jordan branch for the past 11 years and has worked at the company for 26 years. She will serve as chairwoman through 2010. She was first elected to the chamber's board of directors in 2006.
Thomas Wright has been named president and principal broker at Summit Sotheby's International Realty, overseeing the company's Utah offices, and Bruce Shannon has been named managing broker of the company's Heber office. Wright served as managing broker for the Salt Lake City office. Previously, he was with another real estate firm in Utah. Shannon founded Summit Sotheby's International Realty and has more than 25 years of real estate experience.
Andrew K. Jackson has been named executive director of the Mountainland Association of Governments. He replaces Darrell Cook, who is retiring after 37 years at Mountainland. Jackson will be interim director until a new executive council is seated in 2010 and can ratify his selection as executive director. Jackson has worked for Mountainland for 13 years and is currently planning director. He has more than 20 years of experience in government. His education includes degrees from Brigham Young University. Kamas Mayor Lewis P. Marchant was selected as the council's new chairman.
Mary DeJulis has been appointed manager of the Salt Lake City branch of Utah Central Credit Union. DeJulis has worked at Utah Central for three years as the call center supervisor. Prior to joining the company, she was a victim advocate for a county attorney's office in Phoenix for six years, assisting victims of domestic violence and identity theft. Her education includes a degree from the University of Utah.
Spring Bengtzen has been named principal broker of Wolf Creek Resort Properties, the real estate entity of Wolf Creek Utah. Her duties will include managing the day-to-day operations of the brokerage, directing the sales team, listing and selling real estate and supporting the strategic development of the resort. She has been selling real estate for six years. She started as an assistant sales agent at Wolf Creek and quickly rose to sales agent. Most recently, she was an associate broker with another firm.
Robert M. Bowen has joined Brighton Bank as executive vice president and chief lending officer. He will be based in the bank's Cottonwood branch. Bowen has more than 30 years of experience in local commercial, industrial and real estate lending. His education includes degrees from Brigham Young University.
