SOUTH SALT LAKE — A baby sitter has been charged with sexually abusing a 7-year-old girl in his care.

Charges filed in 3rd District Court on Wednesday say the man touched the girl inappropriately in multiple places on two occasions at the child's residence near 3900 South and 700 West in South Salt Lake.

The same man is also accused of sexually abusing a 4-year-old girl at her residence near the other child's home last October.

Michael Nelder, 26, faces a total of five counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child, a first-degree felony, in two separate cases. In each case, bail was set at $200,000.
