LOGAN — Charles "Chic" Bullen, who represented Logan for 14 years in the Utah Legislature, has died.

Bullen was a Republican in the Utah House of Representatives from 1971 to 1976. He served in the Senate from 1977 to 1984.

A farm equipment dealer in Logan, Bullen died Wednesday at the age of 90.

Former Utah Gov. Norm Bangerter said Bullen wasn't given to long-winded speeches or partisan politics and only wanted to do the right thing. His successor, Sen. Lyle Hillyard, says Bullen was able to reach across the aisle to Democrats.

Bullen is survived by his wife and three children.

Funeral services were held Monday in Logan.
