SALT LAKE CITY — The New Year begins with classes on "getting started" on family history.
On Saturday, Jan. 9, an all-day series will be at the Family History Library from 9 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. Class topics include: starting your family history, how to guess where to start, research logs: a tool for organizing and family history on the Internet.
Other classes during the month of January include an all-day series of classes on Scandinavian research (Jan. 16 from 9 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.) and an all-day series on German research (Jan. 30, 9 a.m. to 4:20 p.m.).
Schedules can be viewed online at www.familysearch.org. The classes will be held in the main floor classroom of the Family History Library, located west of Temple Square on West Temple between North Temple and South Temple streets.
