Dedication and open-house dates for the Cebu City Philippines Temple have been announced by the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The Philippines' second temple will be dedicated in three sessions conducted on June 13. The public will be able to tour the building from May 21, through June 5, excluding Sundays.
The temple will begin operation June 14, the day after its dedication, and will be the LDS Church's 133rd temple throughout the world.
The Philippines' first temple, in the capital city of Manila, was finished and dedicated in 1984.
Announced in an April 18, 2006, letter to Filipino priesthood leaders, the Cebu City Philippines Temple will serve the nation's central and southern islands.
Ground was broken for the new temple on Nov. 14, 2007. The temple shares an 11-acre site with a church meetinghouse, mission office, patron housing and residences for the temple and mission presidents.
