DILLON BISHOFF, South Sevier, basketball

Had a huge week for the No. 1 team in Class 2A last week.

South Sevier posted a 4-0 record last week with victories over No. 2 Waterford, No. 3 Enterprise and No. 4 Kanab, in addition to a victory over rival Richfield at the Sevier Valley Center.

Bishoff, who was a Deseret News all-stater in football, is averaging 19.5 points this basketball season for the Rams.

His high for the season is the 32 points he scored against Enterprise at the Cowboy Classic in Kanab over the weekend. In the championship game of that same tournament on Saturday, he scored 19 points in a 73-51 win over host Kanab.

LEXI EATON, Springville, basketball

This junior could have relied on talent alone, but she went to work in the off-season to make herself even more of an asset to the Red Devils.

"She's obviously evolved a lot," said Springville coach Nancy Warner. "She's improved on her fundamentals, ball handling and outside shooting. She's just gotten stronger and quicker. She really has a complete game in that she can drive to the basket or pull up and shoot a three."

Eaton is also an all-state soccer player and honor student who committed to play basketball for BYU this fall. In addition to being the state's leading scorer, averaging 26.2 points per game, she is also an outstanding team leader.
