OREM — Utah Valley (5-5) will look to move over .500 for the first time since beating North Dakota State in the season opener on Nov. 13 when the Wolverines host Southern Oregon (8-5) Monday evening at 7 p.m. at the McKay Center.
The Wolverines, who beat Chadron State 83-57 Saturday afternoon, are 4-1 at home with their only loss at the McKay Center coming to San Jose State on Dec. 5.
"I think personnel-wise Southern Oregon is going to be bigger and stronger (than some teams we have played), and it's a game where we're going to have to bring energy," UVU coach Dick Hunsaker said. "We need to continue to build, play together, move the ball and take better care of the basketball."
Jordan Swarbrick leads the Wolverines in scoring at 14.8 points per game, while Corey Claitt, who has scored 22 and 19 points in his last two games, is averaging 13.1 points, while Justin Baker is averaging 12.2 points.
