Ballet West announced five choreographers who will create new works for its "Innovations" production to be performed in the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center May 21-29, 2010.
Three are from Ballet West and the other two are world-renowned choreographers, according to the announcement.
Ballet West principal Michael Bearden, artist Aidan DeYoung and artist Megan Furse will present works alongside Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company artistic director Charlotte Boye-Christensen, who hails from Denmark, and Helen Pickett, who danced with William Forsythe's Frankfurt Ballet and has recently had her works presented by the Boston Ballet and the Aspen Santa Fe Ballet.
