The swine flu vaccine is now available to all members of the general public.
About 52 local pharmacies and numerous private health care providers and other clinics began offering H1N1 flu vaccines to anyone on Monday, the Salt Lake Valley Health Department announced in a press release.
The vaccine is also available at the health department clinics, but by appointment only.
Residents can set appointments online Tuesday at slvhealth.org or by calling 801-743-7280.
