SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah House got two new members Monday.
Former House and Senate member Bill Wright returns to represent a new area. Wright takes the place of former Rep. Brad Winn, R-Ephraim, in District 68.
Winn resigned after he was hired by Utah State University and had to relocate. Wright, a dairyman, served in the 1990s in seats from southern Utah County.
Johnny Anderson is replacing former Rep. Kory Holdaway, R-Taylorsville, in District 34.
Holdaway resigned to become government affairs director for the Utah Education Association, the main teacher union in the state.
Picked by GOP delegates in their districts, Wright and Anderson will face re-election in 2010, as will all other House members.
