WEST VALLEY CITY — A 34-year-old man was shot in his buttocks and thigh Sunday morning but won't tell police who did it.
The victim called 911 after two men broke into his residence near 4500 South and Dean Drive (3840 West) and shot him twice, but when police arrived to help, they said the man was "uncooperative."
"When police arrived he wouldn't even come to the door," said West Valley City Police Lt. Dalan Taylor. "I think a friend of his had to convince him to come out."
The man was transported to a local hospital and will be fine, police said.
Unless the victim offers more information, Taylor said the case will likely be closed.
