SALT LAKE CITY — About 4,400 customers lost power in the Avenues Sunday morning.
The power outage was caused by an equipment failure at 5:19 a.m., a Rocky Mountain Power spokesman said. Service was resumed at 8:22 a.m.
The spokesman said there have been other scattered outages statewide, including in Utah County, where 1,100 customers lost power.
