Free public Christmas season events along the Wasatch Front

The following Christmas events are all free and open to the public (though some require advance tickets):

Dec. 5-29 — 24th annual Christmas Lamb Show, Springville Museum of Art, 126 E. 400 South; Tuesdays-Saturdays: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Wednesdays: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Sundays: 3 to 6 p.m. Closed Monday.

Dec. 13 — Utah Valley Handbell Choir, 5 p.m., Springville Museum of Art (address above).

Dec. 13 — Messiah Sing-In, 7 p.m. at the Ogden Tabernacle, 21st and Washington Blvd.

Dec. 14 -- Weber State University Alumni Singers Christmas Concert, 8 p.m., First Presbyterian Church, 28th and Quincy, Ogden.

Dec. 20 — Ninth annual "Joy to the World" concert by the Utah South Area LDS Single Adult Choir, 7:30 p.m. at the Provo Tabernacle, 100 S. University Ave.

Dec. 21-22 — "Christmas Carol Services," by the Madeleine Choir School at the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 8 p.m., (free tickets required — call 801-994-4663), 331 E. South Temple, Salt Lake City.

Dec. 24 — Christmas Eve concert by the Madeleine Choir School, 4 p.m. (no tickets required), Cathedral of the Madeleine (address above).
