ORLANDO, Fla. — Utah offensive tackle Zane Beadles has been named to the Walter Camp Football Foundation All-America Team as a second-team selection.
The Walter Camp All-America team, in existence since 1889, is selected by the head coaches and sports information directors of the 119 Football Bowl Subdivision schools.
A three-time all-Mountain West Conference selection (first team in 2008 and 2009), Beadles is a four-year starter for the Utes. This season, he has won 675 of his 770 total plays for a team-best 88 percent overall grade. He has 24 cuts and 13 pancake blocks.
Beadles, who is majoring in mechanical engineering, holds a 3.535 grade point average and was named as a second-team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American. He is a finalist for the Lowe's Senior Class Award and the Wuerffel Trophy.
