The Salt Lake City Police Department says a weekend vehicle checkpoint resulted in seven arrests for driving under the influence.
The department conducted the checkpoint overnight Friday on the city's west side.
A total of 259 vehicles were stopped. Besides the DUI arrests, the department's officers issued 95 citations and impounded 22 vehicles.
