The Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office is seeking help in tracking down burglars who made off with more than $15,000 in tools from a Herriman construction site this week.

Sheriff's Lt. Don Hutson said investigators believe that sometime early Thursday morning several portable storage containers were broken into at 5440 W. 12600 South, the future location of the new Herriman City Library.

Hutson said most of the stolen items were small power tools, such as saws, drills, nail guns and staple guns.

Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call the sheriff's dispatch office at 801-743-700 and reference case 09-119770.
