HIGHLAND — An 18-year-old Springville man was arrested Wednesday after police say he performed a sex act on a 13-year-old boy in exchange for the use of his credit card.

An officer on patrol in Highland Glen Park about 8 p.m. saw a vehicle parked with two people in the back seat "attempting to get their clothes back on," according to a police affidavit filed in 4th District Court.

The officer knocked on the window and saw the 18-year-old sitting "with his pants on backwards and with his buttocks hanging out the back," the affidavit states. Police said the man admitted he agreed to let the victim use his credit card to buy a cell phone.

The 18-year-old was booked into the Utah County Jail for investigation of sodomy on a child and enticing a minor.
