The U.S. Postal Service's deadline for holiday mail and packages for U.S. troops stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan is Friday for arrival by Christmas.
Holiday mail going to other military overseas APO/FPO locations should be sent by Dec. 11.
Except for military mail going to Iraq and Afghanistan, Express Mail can also be used to mail packages to other overseas military locations until Dec. 18 for delivery by Christmas.

Dec. 4 for holiday mail sent to U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Dec. 11 for holiday mail sent to other overseas U.S. troops/military locations.
Dec. 4 for holiday mail sent to Africa, Central and South America.
Dec. 11 for holiday mail sent to Mexico, Canada, Europe, the Middle East, Australia, New Zealand and to Asia/the Pacific Rim.
Dec. 21 for holiday mail sent to U.S. locations.
Dec. 23 for holiday mail sent Express Mail to major U.S. cities/metro areas.
