Hospira Inc., a clinical information and medication delivery technologies company, said Wednesday it has acquired TheraDoc, a Salt Lake-based company that develops hospital surveillance systems.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
TheraDoc's two leading products are designed to provide monitoring of infections and antimicrobial resistance.
TheraDoc has about 85 employees. As part of the agreement, Hospira acquired additional assets related to the TheraDoc business, including the headquarters in Salt Lake City, and the TheraDoc employees are now a part of Hospira.
