Thursday on TV

Published: Thursday, Dec. 3 2009 12:09 a.m. MST

NFL (6 p.m., NFL Net): Bills at Jets

Survivor: Samoa (7 p.m., Ch. 2): There's a cash competition before another contestant is voted off.

FlashForward (7 p.m., Ch. 4): Demetri and Mark track down the woman who claims to have details about Demitri's upcoming death.

Community (7 p.m., Ch. 5): Britta challenges Jeff to find a date.

Christmas With the Mormon Tabernacle Choir (7 p.m., Ch. 7): It's the debut of this year's special — taped last year — that features a performance by Brian Stokes Mitchell and a reading by Edward Herrmann.

Bones (7 p.m., Ch. 13): The remains of a competitive gamer are found in a grease truck.

College football (7 p.m., ESPN): This game — Oregon State at Oregon — will not only decide the Pac-10 championship but will have a direct bearing on who (in all likelihood) both BYU and Utah will be playing in their upcoming bowl games.

Private Practice (8 and 9 p.m., Ch. 4): ABC airs back-to-back episodes of this not-so-great medical drama. You'd think that if airing after a hit like "Grey's Anatomy" — and various crossovers with that show — hasn't turned "Private Practice" into a hit, airing two episodes in a row won't do much, either.

The Office (8 p.m., Ch. 5): Jim starts an employee-of-the-month program.

Fringe (8 p.m., Ch. 13): A shipwreck spills a cargo of dead bodies — each hosting a weird, squidlike creature.

30 Rock (8:30 p.m., Ch. 5): Liz's new talk show goes into production.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (11 p.m., FX): Dee lands a part in M. Night Shyamalan's new movie.
