BOTHWELL, Box Elder County — A 3-year-old boy was hospitalized Wednesday after he was run over by a tractor driven by his father, deputies say.
Emergency personnel were called to the family's home near 11500 West and 11200 North about 9:50 a.m., said Box Elder County Sheriff's Chief Deputy Kevin Potter.
The boy was taken by ambulance to Bear River Valley Hospital. The boy's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The child's father accompanied his son to the hospital, Potter said, which prevented deputies from immediately interviewing the man. The investigation is ongoing.
