ZION NATIONAL PARK — An Idaho woman fell to her death Friday while hiking Angel's Landing in Zion National Park.

Washington County sheriff's deputies said Tammy Grunig of Pocatello, Idaho, fell about 1,000 feet from an extremely narrow trail on Friday afternoon.

The incident is now under investigation by the Washington County Sheriff's Office in conjunction with park rangers.

In August, a Los Angeles woman hiking with her family on the popular trail died after falling 1,000 feet.
